Terms & Conditions

The Prize is promoted, supplied and drawn by Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd t/a Aged Care Decisions (ABN 44 166 080 306) of Level 9, 36 Marine Parade, Southport QLD 4215 (the “Promoter”).

  1. STANDARD TERMS

1.2 By entering the ‘2024 Travel Voucher Gift’ competition you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

  1. WHO CAN ENTER?

2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all Australian residents in states other than Australian Capital Territory, South Australia and Northern Territory aged 18 years of age or older who successfully enter the draw during the Competition Period.

2.2 Employees, directors and their immediate families of Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies, are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

  1. ENTRY PROCESS

3.1 Competition Period: The competition commences at 9.00am AEST on Monday 27 May 2024. Entries close at 5.00pm AEST on Sunday 30 June 2024.

3.2 In order to enter the competition entrants must successfully:

3.2.1 Advise an aged care placement by filling out a webform: Residential Aged Care Placement or Home Care Placement.

3.2.2 Advise an aged care placement by advising the same to the Promoter via email;

3.2.3 Advise an aged care placement by advising the same to the Promoter via SMS;

3.2.4 Advise an aged care placement by advising the same to an Employee of the Promoter via recorded telephone conversation.

3.3 A competition entry is lodged:

3.3.1 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.1 – at the time an entrant successfully completes the form submission;

3.3.2 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.2 – at the time the email is received by the Promoter, that email being sent to any of the Promoter’s email addresses – which end in @agedcaredecisions.com.au;

3.3.3 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.3 – at the time the SMS is received by the Promoter;

3.3.4 In respect of an entry related to cl 3.2.4 – at the time that the recorded conversation occurs.

3.4 In respect to an entry related to cl 3.2.1, an “aged care placement” is “advised” when the following criteria is met:

3.4.1 In respect of an aged care placement in a residential aged care facility – the competition entry contains the name of the provider, the name of the aged care facility, and the suburb of the aged care facility, and a successful admission must have occurred for residential aged care services;

3.4.2 In respect of an aged care placement with a home care package provider – the competition entry contains the name and location of the home care package provider, and a home care package agreement (or similar) must have been signed with the home care package provider;

3.4.3 The relevant aged care placement is with a provider that was disclosed and listed in an Options Report sent to the entrant by the Promoter via email prior to the close of the Competition Period;

3.4.4 The aged care placement must not have been advised to the Promoter prior to the Competition Period, nor must have been the subject of an invoice for aged care placement services between the Promoter and the relevant aged care or home care provider; and

3.4.5 Personal details of the entrant are included – including entrants name, entrants email address and entrants phone number.

3.5 Subject to the foregoing, existing clients of the Promoter (being defined as persons who have received an Options Report containing the referral details of aged or home care providers) are eligible to enter the competition providing they successfully complete the competition entry requirements related to cl 3.2, cl 3.3, cl 3.4 and cl 3.6 at least once during the Competition Period.

3.6 Other criteria relating to competition entries:

3.6.1 Each aged care placement will entitle the individual to one (1) automatic entry into the Competition.

3.6.2 Subject to cl 3.6.3, if an aged care placement relates to two separate aged care placements, each placement meeting the definitions set out in cl 3.4, then the individual will be entitled to one (1) automatic entry into the Competition for each aged care placement.

3.6.3 If an aged care placement relates to an admission for respite care in a residential aged care facility that subsequently converts into an admission for permanent care in the same residential aged care facility, such an aged care placement will entitle the individual to one (1) automatic entry into the Competition.

  1. PRIZE

4.1 One eligible winner will be drawn for the Competition. The prize won by the winner is described in clause 4.2 below.

4.2 The prize consists of one (1) travel voucher to the value of $5,000.00 AUD with Travel Associates Runaway Bay that can be used on booking and paying for such travel as may be advised by the competition winner within 12 months from the date of issue.

Upon successful draw of the prize, and upon the competition winner establishing contact with the Promoter, the travel voucher will be made out in the name of the competition winner and delivered to the winner in accordance with clause 6.

4.3 The prize/s cannot be converted, nor is it redeemable for cash or exchange. The prize may be transferred with the consent of the Promoter, whose consent shall not be unreasonably withheld.

4.4 The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any problems encountered with a prize after delivery. Once a prize voucher is delivered it becomes the responsibility of the prize winner. Any issues or problems encountered should be directed to the service provider. The Promoter endeavours to do everything possible to assist with service provision issues but cannot accept any liability.

4.5 All prizes are subject to availability. Should a prize become unavailable the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a similar product of same or similar value.

  1. DRAW

5.1 One Prize Draw will be held at the conclusion of the Competition Period.

5.2 The details of the Prize Draw are as follows: Prize Draw Date & Time: 2.00pm AEST Monday 1 July 2024.

5.3. Each Prize Draw will take place at the date and time nominated in clause 5.2 above. Each Prize Draw will take place at the offices of Aged Care Reviews Pty Ltd (Southport, Queensland).

5.4 Not in Use.

5.5 The number of prizes to be drawn in a Draw Period shall be determined in line with clause 4.1 above.

5.6 Not in Use.

5.7 Each Prize Draw during the Competition Period shall involve the computer-generated random drawing of names.

5.8 If a competition entrant is drawn more than once during the Competition Period, that winner shall forfeit their second and subsequent prizes, and a redraw will immediately take place.

5.9 The Promoter shall conduct all Prize Draws fairly and impartially. The Promoter will not enter into any discussions or correspondence regarding a prize draw or with a subsequent winner/s.

5.10 Winners will be notified directly by the Promoter via telephone and email on the day of the Prize Draw. If the Promoter is unable to contact a winner directly, the Promoter will retry to a maximum of three (3) times to contact a winner via telephone and email. If a winner does not make direct contact with the Promoter by 2.00pm AEST Monday 01 July 2024 the winner will forfeit the prize and a redraw will be held at the offices of the Promoter at 10am AEST Monday 08 July 2024.

5.11 A redraw conducted pursuant to clause 5.10 above will only be open to entries that were eligible for a prize in the original Prize Draw to which the redraw relates. A second redraw will be held at 10am AEST Monday 8 July 2024 if the redrawn drawn prize winner does not make direct contact with the Promoter by 2.00pm AEST Friday 5 July 2024 (the redraw prize winner having forfeited the prize by failing to contact the Promoter by the stated deadline). The prize will be forfeited if the second redraw winner does not make direct contact with the Promoter by 2pm AEST Friday 12 July 2024.

5.12 Prize winners will be publicised via https://agedcaredecisions.com.au and via a publicly available post made on the Promoters Facebook business page – available to users of Facebook and publicly accessible via https://www.facebook.com/agedcaredecisions/

  1. DELIVERY OF PRIZE

6.1 The Promoter will arrange for delivery of a prize voucher upon successful notification of win. This may be by personal delivery, electronic mail delivery or via Australia Post Parcel Post delivery. The winner may arrange pick up from the Promoter’s office where preferred.

6.2 The Promoter reserves the right to ask for suitable identification prior to surrender of the prize.

  1. PROMOTION OF WINNERS

7.1 The Promoter may request that a prize winner takes part in a promotional photograph that may be used on our website, in social media or news media. The Promoter will not provide the details or images of any winner to any third party not mentioned in this document, without the express permission of the prize winner.

  1. CONDUCT & PROMOTION OF COMPETITION

8.1 This competition shall be conducted via the website of the Promoter, https://agedcaredecisions.com.au, and generally promoted on the internet.

8.2 Notwithstanding the foregoing, this competition shall not be promoted within the Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory or South Australia.
